About FOCHOR
Foundation of Christ, House of Rest for Orphans — a United States–registered public charity serving orphaned and vulnerable children, beginning in Nigeria.
Our vision
To improve humanity by shining the light of the Gospel of Jesus Christ
FOCHOR exists to demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ to vulnerable children — particularly those who are orphaned or disadvantaged. We create and support ministry environments that are safe, nurturing, accountable and free from abuse.
We support children from primary education through secondary school, generally through age 18, focusing first on children attending public schools in the communities we serve.

Christ at the center
- We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and our final authority.
- We believe in one God — Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
- We believe Jesus Christ is Lord: crucified, risen, and returning.
- We believe salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone.
- We believe caring for orphans is pure and faultless religion (James 1:27).
- We believe every child bears God's image and deserves dignity, safety and love.
