There are no unexplained gaps. Corrections to financial records are made by reversal entries — never deletions — so history remains intact.
Restricted & unrestricted funds
Every donation carries a fund designation. Donor-restricted gifts can only be reassigned with authorization from an officer, a recorded reason, a timestamp and an audit entry. The original designation is preserved permanently.
