Donation Policy

Designations

Every gift carries a fund designation. Donor-restricted gifts remain restricted; any permitted reassignment requires authorized approval with a recorded reason and audit entry.

Receipts

A FOCHOR acknowledgment is issued for each confirmed donation. Contributions may be tax deductible to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Sponsorship wording

Sponsorship gifts fund FOCHOR’s charitable program serving the sponsored child and children in similar circumstances. FOCHOR retains responsibility for appropriate charitable use and allocation of donated funds. Final language is subject to legal/accounting review.
