FOCHOR respects the privacy of donors, referrers, children, guardians, partners and volunteers. This policy explains what we collect and why.
What we collect
- Donors: name, contact details, donation history, communication preferences.
- Referrers: contact details and information necessary to assess a child referral.
- Children & guardians (confidential): only what is required for case management, stored in access-controlled systems.
What we never publish
- Child home addresses, guardian phone numbers or precise locations
- Medical diagnoses, mental health records or abuse allegations
- Case notes, safeguarding reports or family financial records
- Government identification numbers or birth certificates
Retention
Records are retained per documented retention schedules; financial records follow applicable accounting requirements. Rejected referrals are purged on schedule.
