Child Safeguarding Policy
DRAFT — REQUIRES BOARD/LEGAL APPROVAL. This document is a working draft and does not constitute adopted organizational policy until formally approved.
The safety, dignity and privacy of children are architectural requirements of everything we build and everything we do — not optional features.
Our commitments
- Rigorous screening and training for all child-facing staff and volunteers
- Confidential handling of referrals and case records with strict permission levels
- No public exposure of child records without an approved safeguarding process
- Photographs only with documented guardian consent (and child assent where age-appropriate)
- Never using withdrawal of humanitarian assistance to compel religious participation
Report a concern
Email safeguarding@fochor.org. Concerns reach designated safeguarding officers only. If a child is in immediate danger, contact local authorities first.
